Water at its purest form inspired ancient philosophers, from
Chinese thinking of Water is benefiting all things without
competition, to the Westem idea of water as the origin of
all things. The dance Be Water takes the words from the
Book of Dao, expressing water as the highest virtue of life,
through pure body movement. The stagnancy of solid state,
the fluidity of liquid state, the egnima of vapour state,
formulate the conception of Be Water. The choreographer
also sees them as different stages of life, filling the dance
stage with moving image and imagery.
