Life to me is like a journey to continuously to get to know myself, taking memories of the past, moving
forward by exploring on the unknowns. Some people may hold a place in my heart, some may become
part of my life, while some may come and go. Perhaps the journey is to continuously look back at my
past, stopping occasionally to greet the former and appease on the restless mind. Facing towards the
sun, journey continues on pursuing my dreams.
I graduated from college in 2012 and abruptly decided to leave Beijing to start a new life in Singapore.
It was that one year as a foreigner I experienced the loneliness and perplexity due to cultural differences.
I returned to Guangzhou in 2013, encountered Willy TSAO and joined the Guangdong Modern Dance Company.
As a professional dancer during those three years, I went through bewilderedness and loss, then accrued bits
by bits on discipline and transformation. I returned to Beijing in early 2017 and joined the BeijingDance/LDTX.
At the brink of the eyes I’ve been for three years already; I am now with a group of innocent yet dedicated,
supportive of and relying on each other, enthusiastically moving forward…
Life is like that regardless of whether one is prepared or not, everything will just happen. I am not the hot-headed
youngster I used to be as I have learned to become more cautious in what I say or do. However, I am still the young
man who relentlessly goes after my dreams.
