< Quadrille> is performed at Tsinghua International School Daoxiang Lake

 is curated by Willy TSAO, artistic  director of BeijingDance/LDTX. The program  is of lecture and dance combination format to  take the audience into the mysterious and  magnificent world of modern dance. 

The three main attributes of modern dance:  Preserving personality, encouraging creativity  and following current times, are quite different  from our usual perspectives on dance enjoyment, as lots of audience would 

say they don’t understand what this modern dance is  trying to say, don’t understand. Quadrille leverages on four different channels  to lead the audience into the enjoyment of  modern dance. From “body resonance”,  

“spiritual perception”, “logical reading” to  Worldly traveling”, with the dancers’ performance of excerpts of Arc, Scavenger of  Light, Search for Grand View Garden, and  Plaza Dance 1.0, demonstrating the four  different channels heading into the difference  dance scenary,

Arc may be static curved line, and can also be a kaleidoscopic tracks of life. It may appear as if it is deviating from one's path of life, but no one can run away from one's destiny.

Hello, how are you?

Tracks keep on duplicating; sand keeps on storming. A beautiful arc appears but falling into the river of the age through time.

Then everything returns to its normalcy…

 In Search of the Grand View Garden (excerpt)

The hipsters, coming from the 21st Century,  are wandering around the Grand View Garden  and are enjoying the beautiful scenery while  drinking wine and reciting poems with songs  and dance… 

Morphing between the real and  the imagined spectrum, mixing between the  ancient and the current time, while light and  beautiful movements reflect serious  ponderance. For those who are not within,  one would not know what the original story was supposed to be therefore what one sees  is how one feels. 

Everyone can have his/her  own version of the story as one sees it in  his/her own world.
