Choreographer Introductin

Resident Artist/Choreographer of BeijingDance/LDTX. LIU Bin was born in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province of 

China.  He studied Folk Dance at the Shaanxi Arts School and at Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy.  

LIU joined the Fujian Provincial Song and Dance Company.  In 2002, he embarked on his modern dance career 

with the Beijing Modern Dance Company.  In 2005, he became a founding member of the BeijingDance/LDTX.

LIU’s works have been presented at the Dance Salad Festival in US and at the Hong Kong Arts Festival.  His 

major choreographies include October, Play with You, The Snail, A Place.
