Dance Center

LDTX Dance Center under BeijingDance/LDTX dance company was established in September of 2005.  The center leverages on resources of the dance company, with the aim to develop both the body and the mind, to unfold the many kinds of modern dance through classes, in hopes of supporting the participants to discover the best kind of dance style for oneself, re-discovering one’s body hence to re-think on the concept of the body.

The LDTX Dance Center is an education project of the dance company.  Its teachers are mainly composed of dancers and resident artists of the dance company, and its format utilizes an integration of both performance and training.

Participants of the dance center would enjoy both learning on dancing, as well as having face-to-face exchanges with the teachers plus opportunities to watch the dance company’s performances and programs presented at the company’s theater.  Integrating what’s learned from the classroom studio with watching and observing from a performance provide the dance enthusiasts a high-quality well-rounded learning experience.
