As a part of “Important Cultural Activities for 2008 Beijing Olympic Games”, the first “Beijing Dance Festival: Tian Qiao Theater” will be held from May 9th - 25th. According to the co-presenters Beijing LDTX Modern Dance Company (LDTX) and the National Ballet of China (NBC), the festival marks the first annual event held to inspire local dance companies and international cultural exchanges. Tian Qiao Theater serves as a platform for audience members and artists to engage with contemporary choreography. The festival features a broad range of both China based and international dance companies.
