This is a crowded city, yet this is a quiet, empty city.
In the relentless crush, collisions and roaring shouts, a determination is made on the ultimate winner who becomes the new occupant of the city.
Shi Jingxin, born in Lanzhou and grown up in Shanghai, graduated from Beijing Dance Academy where she is currently working for as a teacher. She was hired as a choreographer for 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening.

Lashing out against the artificial, vice and ugliness, within the work, the choreographer has created the image of an innocent, lovely, and naïve face.
Yao Xian, Shanxi native, is currently studying choreography at Beijing Dance Academy.

Such brilliance.
Sha Rina hails from Nel Mongolia, where she learned traditional Mongolian dance at Nel Mongolia College of Arts Affiliated School, she is currently studying modern dance at Jiangnan University.

★ Existence

Choreography: Xing Liang (CCDC)
Dancer: Xing Liang
Existence is a solo dance piece choreographed and performed by Xing Liang. Set to the music Psalom by Arvo Part, the piece is about the existence and the pursue of freedom of oneself.
Born in Beijing, Xing Liang graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy and joined Guangdong Modern Dance Company in 1993. Xing is a bright dance star in China, and has won numerous awards in his career. He is currently the Resident Artist of CCDC.

★ Everything Goes By (Ban Xia Dance Studio)

Choreography: Chang Xiaoni
Dancers: Wang Cheng, Xu Chi, Cai Xiaoyue, Dong Qi, Jin Chaochao, Zhang Xianting, Fu Ruizhi, Fu Xiao, Li Beijuan, Li Wenting and Li Xuanmei
This dance is inspired by Lu Xun’s “The Diary of a Madman” particularly the theme of cannibalism, which exposes the inhumane relationship between people by reflecting the destruction of humanity in the old society.
Chang Xiaoni, was born in Lanzhou, she graduated from Beijing Dance Academy, and is currently working for Beijing Normal University as a dance teacher.

★ Meditation

Choreography: Zhao Kejun
Dancer: Zhao Kejun
The dance combines the flow and fluidity of tai chi, the various stylistic forms of yoga, as well as the elegant, free and graceful movements of dance.
Zhao Kejun hails from Gansu, he graduated from Central University of Nationalities with master degree, and is currently a lecturer of Beijing Vacational Institute of Local Opera and Arts.

Liu Bin is a founding member of LDTX. He was born in Shaanxi, and studied Folk Dance Division at Beijing Dance Academy Affilliated High School, and begin his modern dance career with the Beijing Modern Dance Company.
