In the relentless crush, collisions and roaring shouts, a determination is made on the ultimate winner who becomes the new occupant of the city.
Shi Jingxin, born in Lanzhou and grown up in Shanghai, graduated from Beijing Dance Academy where she is currently working for as a teacher. She was hired as a choreographer for 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening. |

Sha Rina hails from Nel Mongolia, where she learned traditional Mongolian dance at Nel Mongolia College of Arts Affiliated School, she is currently studying modern dance at Jiangnan University. |

Existence is a solo dance piece choreographed and performed by Xing Liang. Set to the music Psalom by Arvo Part, the piece is about the existence and the pursue of freedom of oneself.
Born in Beijing, Xing Liang graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy and joined Guangdong Modern Dance Company in 1993. Xing is a bright dance star in China, and has won numerous awards in his career. He is currently the Resident Artist of CCDC. |

This dance is inspired by Lu Xun’s “The Diary of a Madman” particularly the theme of cannibalism, which exposes the inhumane relationship between people by reflecting the destruction of humanity in the old society.
Chang Xiaoni, was born in Lanzhou, she graduated from Beijing Dance Academy, and is currently working for Beijing Normal University as a dance teacher. |
