★ The Autumn Song

★ Taipei Crossover Dance Company

Founded in 1994 by veteran dancers CHEN Shu-gi, LO Man-fei, WU Su-chun, and YEH Tai-chu, along with Taiwan’s foremost lighting designer, LIN Keh-hua, the company is devoted to expressing the essential spirit of performance. 
The compny’s core members established their professional reputations through long-time association with the acclaimed Cloud Gate Dance Theatre of Taiwan, as either founding members or principal dancers. The members came together to form Taipei Crossover with a desire to further expand their lives on the stage. Dance is something beyond movement; it serves as a foundation for blending music, theatre, film, literature, installation, and other art forms. On stage, they dance, they act, they sing, they speak… they perform. Performance is no longer a life pursuit, but a life in itself.

Liu Yifeng is from Hunan province. He graduated from Central University of Nationalities, and had once learned dance in Japan, is currently a professional dancer of LDTX.

★ Flying Against the Wind(Tianjin Pioneer Dance)

Life has its adversities and opportunities.  Follow the opportunities: the waves are not disturbed by the river’s flow.  In adversity, fly against the rules and wind to overcome thunder and lightning.
Wang Di, Tianjin native, Graduated from Tianjin Normal University, the founder of Tianjin Pioneer Dance.

You Hu, Beijing native, Graduated from Tsinghua University with a aaster degree, is currently working for BeijingDance / LDTX as Stage Manager.

Dreams are a never fading field of youth, where hope is released in the highest heights and the most despairing lows of the world.  Wings that desire to fly burn passionately; after the sun sets they still sleep at your side.

★ Yuanmingyuan (Xin Act Lab)

This is a dialogue between the dancer and the musician.
Through the interaction of the body and sound, they exchange their life experiences with each other.
In the course of the difficult, cyclic repetition of life, the puzzling questions of self are being answered.
Shi Jingxin, born in Lanzhou and grown up in Shanghai, graduated from Beijing Dance Academy where she is currently working for as a teacher. She was hired as a choreographer for 2008 Beijing Olympics Opening.

A long and difficult journey is born out of the mire. It brings sunshine and strength to those who are heavily burdened, and gives peace and courage to those who are suffering. When we love the mire under our feet, we have embraced the spirit.
Yao Xian, Shanxi native, is currently studying choreography at Beijing Dance Academy.
