GODZILLA TAN (Technical Director)
Godzilla Tan was born in Malaysia and is a founding member of LDTX.
He joined Hong Kong’s City Contemporary Dance Company as a technician in 1995. In Malaysia, he co-founded “3 Production”, the first Malaysian theater company with productions in the Hong Kong Arts Festival and the first comprehensive festival in Malaysia. In 2004, he joined Beijing Modern Dance Company as their lighting designer and in 2005 became the Technical director of LDTX.
GAO JIE (Production Manager)
Gao Jie was born in Beijing. He graduated from the Central Acemdey of Drama with a Bachelor in stage design. Gao’s lighting design credits include, Gaoqi Youth Concert (2005), Night Games Living Theater (2005), Doudou’s Magical Time Children’s play (2005), and Spring’s Heart MTV (2005). Gao Jie is a founding member of LDTX.
YOU HU (Stage Manager)
You Hu , a Beijing native, studied at Tsinghua University and graduated with a Master degree in Chemical Engineering. While in university, he studied dance at the Educational Arts Center at Tsinghua. In 2006, You Hu joined LDTX and has choreographed “Lover” and “Sleepless” and dance video “He and She” and “7.5 m²”.
Yu Huilian (Assistant Stage Manager)
Yu Hui Lian was born in Beijing and began studying dance with the LDTX training school in 2005. From 2006-2009, she worked for Starbucks International Corporation. During the 2008 Olympics she had the opportunity to join the Starbuck StarTeam and worked at the NBC Universal Studios. While working with Starbucks, she also began training with the technical department of LDTX as an assistant stage manager. In June 2009, YuHuiLian joined the technical department of LDTX as Assistant Stage Manager and the Stage Manager of the newly founded LDTX II. |
