Ma Bo is a founding member of LDTX. Born in Mizhi, Shanxi Province, Ma Bo studied at the Shanxi Provincial Song and Dance Theater. In 1991, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Beijing Dance Academy, division of Chinese Ethnic Dance. After her graduation she taught at the Beijing Dance Academy and in 1993 joined the Guangdong Modern Dance Company. In 1999, she moved back north and began dancing with Beijing Modern Dance Company and later became a founding member of LDTX. Ma Bo choreographs extensively for LDTX. Her works includes, “Variation of Red, “Helpless”, Gone with it in Multi-Color”, “Garden of Memory”, “The Cold Dagger”, “Rehearsal and Performance: At Odds” and others. |
