LDTX Theater

As the launch of the BeijingDance/LDTX "Lunar Charioteer" monthly dance performance, the 《National Dance Boutique – First Collection》 composes of seven exquisite works coming from five cities of: Beijing, Changchun, Haikou, Jinan, and Sanya. These original works were choreographed by dance groups or individuals from various locations and were showcased at the 2021 Greater Bay Dance Festival. In spring we gather at the LDTX Theater in celebration of the latest spirits and festivity in modern dance.

The Last Chapter of the Night

Choreography：GUAN Fang, YU Jia-yue（Beijing）

Program：

A mysterious meaning on being wanted, or a touch from before but related to far away, or a wandering at night whereby it is a non-existing fantasy.

Weeds

Choreography：SHI Wen-liang（Jinan·Shandong University of Arts）

Program：

When no one treats you dearly like a flower, then you can only be the weeds and enjoy the lonesomeness.

Martlet

Choreography：PAN Yi（Jinan·Shandong University of Arts）

Program：

I'm not going to please you with my look, and I do not need your pity. I love all the dirt on my body more than I love you.

Ferryman

Choreography：YANG Xian-jie, LIN Kang-mei（Haikou·Du Wu Ren Dance Studio）

Program：

Everyone has a ferryman by his side. They understand your pain and will lead you out of the misery. The piece is inspired by the book titled Ferryman.
